To create an accurate project plan for your home upgrades, it is easier if we have a floorplan of your home.
This will allow us to do things like:
- Estimate the size and location of your systems
- Determine distances for new wiring and plumbing.
Before you get started...
Before we show you how, here are some considerations to determine if this is possible for your home.
Since your home was last on the market have there been any:
- Extensions?
- Internal renovations that included knocking down or adding walls?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, then the floorplan on realestate.com.au will not be up-to-date. You will need to find a floorplan that includes the extension/renovations. You may be able to get one from your conveyancer or builder.
Check to see if your floorplan is available online
Step 1: Go to realestate.com.au
On your device (phone, laptop, tablet), open your web browser and type in www.realestate.com.au
, or just click
here.
Step 2: Search for your address
- In the homepage search bar, select the "address" heading.
- Type your address into the search bar.
- Realestate.com.au will provide you with a list of options. Select your home from the list.
- Click 'search'.
Step 3: Check floorplan availability
The first few available images will be displayed. Often, if there is a floorplan image it will appear here. However, you may need to click on the images and scroll through to see if a floorplan is in the collection.
If the images do not display immediately, you can click on the floorplan icon to access the floorplan.
Step 4: Check for accuracy
If there is a floorplan image, it is worthwhile checking that it is accurate to your home. Click on the image to enlarge it and see if it matches.
If it does, your floorplan is available and we can access it by using your address!
If it doesn't, you will need to find a floorplan that is up-to-date. You may be able to get one from your conveyancer or builder.
